Making History: Stories of Remembrance with Lizzie Lovejoy

Drawing on archive photographs and stories from the Durham Light Infantry collection and the DLI Gallery at The Light, this reflective creative writing workshop invites you to explore remembrance through poetry and prose.

Guided by poet Lizzie Lovejoy, participants will respond to archive images, personal histories and objects from the collection, uncovering moments of courage, loss, resilience and hope.

Whether you're an experienced writer or just beginning your creative writing journey, this welcoming workshop offers a space to share ideas and honour memories through the written word.
